Atrisha Lewis is the founder of Lewis Litigation. She is a trial and appellate litigator and with a practice focused on commercial disputes, professional liability, class actions and administrative law disputes. She has won trials by jury and by judge alone. Atrisha also assists clients with their most complex and sensitive problems by conducting internal investigations. Atrisha has argued before all levels of Court.

Atrisha has consistently demonstrated her commitment to the legal profession. In 2019, Atrisha was elected as bencher of the Law Society of Ontario. She is currently the chair of the Professional Development and Competence Committee, which is the committee responsible for entry level and continuing competence of lawyers and paralegals in Ontario. Atrisha is also the Ontario representative to the Federation of Canadian Law Societies. Atrisha is a member of the Supreme Court of Canada Bench and Bar Liaison Committee.

In 2021, Atrisha was recognized with the Globe and Mail’s “Changemakers” award and appeared on the cover of the Globe and Mail’s Report on Business. In 2020, she was awarded the Women in Law Leadership’s “Stronger Together Award” as well as the University of Toronto’s Wilson Prichard award for outstanding contribution to the legal profession. In 2019, she was recognized as one of Lexpert’s Rising Stars: Leading Lawyer Under 40. In 2018, she was recognized as a “Precedent Setter” by Precedent Magazine and was awarded an Arbour Award in recognition of her outstanding volunteer contribution to the University of Toronto.

Todd Pribanic-White is a litigator at Lewis Litigation, and is the head of the firm’s Medical Malpractice Group. Todd maintains a broad practice spanning medical malpractice, slip-and-fall claims, class actions, human rights matters, and professional negligence. He also has experience representing institutional clients, including non-profits, banks, and other entities, providing strategic and practical litigation solutions.”

Todd graduated from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law and started his career at a large full service law firm. Before becoming a lawyer, Todd was a Registered Nurse, working throughout law school and on the front lines during the COVID-19 pandemic. His healthcare background gives him a distinctive perspective in personal injury and medical malpractice matters, allowing him to approach complex cases with both legal and clinical insight.

In addition to his practice, Todd serves on the board of directors of the Canadian Association of Black Lawyers, where he contributes to advancing equity and inclusion within the legal system. He is particularly committed to addressing systemic discrimination in cases involving race, citizenship, and LGBTQ+ rights.

Todd is known for combining analytical precision with compassion, ensuring his clients receive both strong advocacy and thoughtful guidance.

Richard De Almeida is an associate at Lewis Litigation where he maintains a growing practice in civil and commercial litigation.

Prior to joining Lewis Litigation, Richard worked as in-house legal counsel at a global chemical manufacturing company. There, he negotiated complex and multi-million dollar commercial contracts and advised on regulatory compliance where he gained insight into the business and operational realities clients must navigate.

Richard received his Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School and holds an undergraduate degree in biochemistry from the University of Toronto which has nurtured his ability to engage with technical and scientific issues that frequently arise in litigation.

Known for his multidimensional thoughtfulness between the legal, business, and human realties of navigating disputes, Richard is committed to mindfully guiding clients with diligence and approachability.

With nearly two decades of experience in the legal field, Christol joined Lewis Litigation after spending 10 years at a large full-service Toronto law firm, where she focused extensively on medical malpractice matters and supported complex litigation files. During that time, she worked alongside Atrisha Lewis, now Founder and Partner of Lewis Litigation.

At Lewis Litigation, Christol serves as both Legal Assistant and Office Administrator. She supports the litigation team with document preparation, scheduling, and client communication, while also managing the firm’s day-to-day operations. A graduate of the ILCO Associate Level Program, she combines formal training with extensive practical experience and is valued for her efficiency, professionalism, and ability to keep a busy litigation practice running seamlessly.
